FLAVAHZ Crew is an eight-member, all girl dance crew. Under the direction of Marcelo Pacleb of 24vii Danceforce in Hawaii, these incredibly talented girls were selected to work with lead choreographers, Kelsey Park and Josh Ofoia. FLAVAHZ Crew members include Angel Gibbs (12, LA); Camren Bicondova (12, HI/LA); Charlize Glass (10, LA); Jaira Miller (14, LA); Kaelynn Gobert-Harris (16, LA); Summer Waikiki (12, HI); and twins, Tiara and Tamara Rapp (17, HI). This dynamic group of dancers is a mixture of style, passion, versatility, fun, and love. Purpose driven, these girls are a representation of diversity in a global dance community. Their signature colors show individuality that is brought together to achieve unity.

Established in 2011, Marcelo's vision was to put together young talent from his home studio of 24vii to audition for ABDC Season 6. The original members of the group all came from Hawaii. Although they did not make it onto the show, FLAVAHS continued to perform in showcases and competitions. Later in the year, a group of girls from the collectiveUth family from LA and North Carolina were invited to perform with FLAVAHS & Frenz in WOD (World of Dance), where they placed 3rd behind 24vii's own adult piece and Hypersquad. It was during that time that the ingredients of FLAVAHS was being played with. There was potential for a new dynamic recipe and blend current members of the crew. While the direction is in Hawaii, it has been up to the members in LA to learn and rehearse choreography from video. It is that extreme dedication and drive that makes this concoction so special. The name FLAVAHS (with an S) became FLAVAHZ (with a Z) Crew just a couple of nights prior to the ABDC Season 7 audition. The visual esthetic of the sharp, straight lines made more sense and seemed natural.

FLAVAHZ Crew's success is reliant upon all the support they have. Dance family and friends in Hawaii from 24vii Danceforce, collectiveUth, and most importantly family members. Member families include a dad who is serving our country as a military serviceman, single parent homes, a mom's recent diagnosis and fight against cancer, the hardwork and effort put into allowing opportunities to dance. Dance is what they love to do, but their performance is what will leave you inspired. Don't be fooled by the sweetness of FLAVAHZ... this crew packs a fruity punch that is hard-hitting and fierce!

Running, acting, and cooking If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown What or who inspires you and why? The people who inspire me are my FLAVAHZ crew-mates, Cam, Summer, Angel, Tam, Ti, Jaira, and KK. They never stop working hard! I love my mom so much... she supports me everyday.

Angel - Grape

Angel Gibbs 12 years old

How long have you been dancing? I've been dancing since I was 2 Favorite style of dance? Hip-Hop, but I also love jazz, ballet, tap, and lyrical. pair of shoes? Combat boots and Nikes with fur Hobbies besides dance? Drawing If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? Michael or Janet Jackson What or who inspires you and why? Both of my sisters inspire me, because they are both really amazing dancers... and one is also a good singer.

Cam Cam - Blue Razzle

Camren Bicondova 12 years old

Running with my dad, sleeping, hanging out with friends and family If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, or all of the faculty on the Pulse on Tour What or who inspires you and why? I have A LOT of people who inspire me. One of my crew-mates, Kaelynn Gobert-Harris, because she's so clean. Angel Gibbs and Charlize Glass are so small, but they dance like they are 25 year olds. Summer Waikiki, Jaira Miller, Tiara and Tam Rapp are amazing, yet so nice and humble. Logan Hassel is incredible. Laurel Thomspon is just... AGHHHHH! Laurianne Gibson pushes me past my limit.

Summer Waikiki 12 years old

How long have you been dancing? 4 years, but have done Hula for 8 years Favorite style of dance? Hip-Hop & Hula Favorite pair of shoes? Combat Boots & Creative Recs Hobbies besides dance? Besides dancing, I love to sleep, spend time with family and friends, watch other dancers, and shop. If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? Beyonce What or who inspires you and why? There are a lot of people who inspire me, some of them are my family for always supporting and believing in me. Others include Cam, Angel, Charlize, KK, Jaira, Ti and Tam, Kelsey Park, Brandi Chun, Laurel Thomson, and the rest of my dance family, especially Marcelo Pacleb. They all push me to always do my best.

KK - Tropicana

Kaelynn Gobert-Harris 16 years old

How long have you been dancing? 2 years of training, but dancing all of my life Favorite style of dance? Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz Favorite pair of shoes? Combat Boots Hobbies besides dance? Tumbling and yarning hair up If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? The greatest ever, Michael Jackson What or who inspires you and why? The person who mainly inspires me most would have to be Dave Scott. He inspires me because he grew up just like I did; he had a single parent household and couldn't afford dance classes... he was self-taught. I was self-taught up until 2 years ago. I believe if Dave Scott can make it in life, so can I.

Tam - Cheri

Tamara Rapp 17 years old

How long have you been dancing? 12 Favorite style of dance? Hip-Hop Favorite pair of shoes? My cheetah low top ALDO sneakers Hobbies besides dance? Gymnastics, graphic arts, and lip syncing If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Rihanna, and the late Michael Jackson What or who inspires you and why? Some dancers who inspire me are Ian Eastwood, Mark Kanemura, Whyley Yoshimora, and Laurel Thomson. Ian is young, fresh, and creative. Mark, Whyley, and Laurel all came from the 24vii Dance Force in Hawaii, where I'm also a company member. Coming from such a small island, they made it big in a professional dance community. They have danced for artists such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, and more. I hope to be like them.

FLAVAHZ Crew! They always inspire, help, and love me. They all have different styles and personalities, which motivate me to be a better dancer.

Tumble and play with my hair If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, and the late Michael Jackson What or who inspires you and why? Laurel Thomson, Kaili Bright, Ian Eastwood, and Tucker Barkley inspire me because when you watch them dance, you can see their emotions. They dance from their hearts and are so amazing. They all have very different and unique styles.

Swim, draw, hang out with friends, and make funny videos If you could dance for any artist, who would it be? I would have loved to have danced with Michael Jackson What or who inspires you and why? Some people who inspire me include Michael Jackson and all the amazing dancers I know, because they work really hard at their craft.
